On September 3, 2012 “Called-to-Lead” was introduced as a new communication tool for Christian Schools International. During the first year, the blog has received 3000 new visitors and more than 8000 page views. If you are recent first-time visitor welcome! If you have visited frequently over the past year, I hope that you have been blessed.
The primary audience for “Called-to-Lead” is Christian school leaders. But the blog is also intended to reach those who lead everywhere in the kingdom of God. The blog is meant for anyone who has heard God’s call, seeks to live as His disciple, and desires to advance His kingdom.
The visual on the blog home page is Masada, a fortress mountain at the edge of the Judean Wilderness and Rift Valley. Masada means fortress. It is the likely the picture in the mind of the psalmist who wrote: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock in whom I take refuge.” Psalm 18:2a The picture of Masada is a constant reminder to me. As one who is called to lead, I can never lead alone. I can only lead if the foundation of my leadership is God, my rock and my fortress.
